Let's Get Organized: A Mary Engelbreit Inspired Laundry Room

I have always loved the designs of the very talented artist Mary Engelbreit.
In my condo in San Diego, I painted the powder room in red and yellow and had a black/white checked border along the wall. The running joke was, I have to use Mary's Room.

In my new place, I no longer have a powder room, but I still wanted a cheery spot inspired by Mary's creations. And what room needs more cheering up than a plain jane laundry room?

I painted (and distressed) a wooden sign to hang under the cupboards.

Found this fold up Valet Hanger
to hang next to the dryer - it's really sturdy.

Who wouldn't want to be Queen?

Love her use of black, white and red so I was inspired to create my own art piece,
All You Need is Love.

I still want to do more, but now when I come in from the garage, this is the cheery setting I see everyday.
And it sort of makes me want to do laundry????

Happy Organizing & Decorating
Love, Steph
